The CSTI Acoustics staff is experienced in searching for documents related to acoustics. We have extensive databases on literature on noise, noise-induced hearing loss, hand-arm vibration syndrome, pneumatic tools, and federal, state, and city noise ordinances.

A few representative projects include:

Occupational Hearing Loss
Reviewed history of hearing loss and provided library search capability for documents.

Calwell & McCormick
Searched historical documents for specific information related to the individuals who had knowledge about hearing loss.

Devereux Foundation
Searched the acoustical and psychological literature for relationships between noise, sleep, and psychological state.

Alberta Energy and Utilities Board, Alberta, Canada
Searched and summarized the literature on the response of wildlife and domestic animals to noise.
